Hi Ho! My jinx powers were on full display last week as I put the jinx on Linda, Paul, Tracy, Steve, and Jordan to go 1-5. Let's see if I can improve my jinxes with a perfect 0-6 in my predictions. With byes and injuries, many of us are struggling to find even decent options to start. In the Fantasy Pros Power Rankings, there's Jordan at 100 setting the bar and then a big group of us in the 80s followed by Travis and Justin in the 70s and Linda dragging up the rear in the 60s. We're all fighting to see who will face-off against Jordan in the Championship and hope we can be as lucky as Dana last week.
Kermit the Commissioner (James) vs Elmo (Jordan)

Dana may have pulled off the miracle win last week, but it's not happening this week. I am just hoping to score more than Gary in points in the hopes I can hold on to make the playoffs and get a bye. I am not holding my breath for either. My teams over the past two years have faded down the stretch. Lamar is officially on bye this week but he has been on bye fantasy-wise for a few weeks now. I've been stashing Jones and have to pray he runs like Fields against the Texans. Pollard is a stud if only he was given the lead, but Jerry loves Zeke or at least is trapped by his sunk cost fallacy after giving Zeke all that money. Either way, Pollard is back to being a low-end RB2. Not the upside I need against Jordan. Everyone knows how loaded Jordan's lineup is.
Prediction: Jordan posts another high score in a non-competitive matchup.
Scooter (Gary) vs Dr. Honeydew (Travis)

Things have imploded in Indy. It can't be great for Pittman. Ashlyn traded him away just in time. Still makes me sick that I picked Pittman over Tyreak in the draft. I'm such an idiot. I dumped him to Ashlyn and now Ashlyn dumps him to Travis. Pittman will get 15 targets this week. Travis gets Zeke back in a juicy matchup versus the Packers. Multiple TDs are incoming. It looks like Travis will have to play Taysom in the flex unless he grabs someone off the waivers. Gary is back to his triple-threat KC lineup. He ups it to four Chiefs players by adding Buttkicker to the lineup. I double dare him to go all in and play Pachecho, too. No balls. He currently has Thielen in over Palmer. I think that is a mistake, but he should win either way.
Prediction: Travis takes a hit to his hopes in the Beards division.
Gonzo the Great (Justin) vs Oscar the Grouch (Tracy)

Fantasy football is the last thing Tracy needs to focus on, but sometimes you need an outlet to escape to when life is giving you lemons. After posting a monster game last week, Mixon gets the bye to recuperate from carrying the Bengals on his back. That's a huge blow to Justin's chances against the Trashman. Just has to hope Waller returns from his hamstring injury or he will have to go dumpster diving for a TE to start. For Tracy, Josh Jacobs is due for a bounce-back game vs a Colts team that is in shambles. Did I mention Barkley gets to face the Texans' run defense? Barkley may go for 200 yards as Henry did. The big win by Brady last week can go a long way to rebuilding team confidence as they face a Seahawks team. It's the first game being played in Germany. Dana and I have been to Germany. The jet lag sucks and takes more than a couple of days to get over! Brady will still be better than Rodgers, though. I hate to pick Tracy as I don't want to jinx him during this time, but his team should be good enough to overcome it.
Prediction: Tracy takes down the 3x champion.
Miss Piggy (Dana) vs Janice (Linda)

It's the Crapper bowl preview between Dana and Linda. True to form, this game is going to be close. I'm afraid Dana used up all her points last week in the shocking win over Jordan. That's catching lightning in a bottle. She's going to ride Fields as far as he can take her. That didn't sound right. What a difference a few weeks makes in fantasy. Dana seems to have found a fix for her QB issue, but she still has a gaping RB issue. It sounds like Harris is going to have to share more with Warren. CEH is barely getting any touches. Maybe Hubbard can return to give her a chance for 10 points at the position. With Higgins on bye, she is going for the Fields/Mooney stack in hopes of going to the moon vs the Lions. Linda has to pray Winston is named the starter. I haven't seen anything yet. If not, she will have to find someone to start for her and there isn't much left on the waiver wire. On the bright side, Jamaal pretty much has the backfield to himself in Detroit. Allgeier is still a question mark even with his good game with Patterson back last week. Neither of these teams is good. It just comes down to which one will suck more this week.
Prediction: Linda gets buried with no Burrow this week.
Animal (Paul) vs Abby (Ashlyn)

Ashlyn might have had a chance if Aaron Jones didn't get injured last week. He may play, but he won't be 100%. If Montgomery can't get 100 total yards against the Lions then the Bears should just give up on him but they won't. Paul has his own injury concerns. If Allen doesn't play he is left with Geno Smith. Not a bad option, but it's still a big hit to the upside. Gibson should have a positive game script for catching passes out of the backfield vs the Eagles. Kelce goes for another 100 yards and this week he finds the endzone.
Prediction: Paul doesn't go easy on the Rookie and closes the gap on James.
Fozzy Bear (David) vs BoBo the Bear (Steve)

Steve brings a league-leading four-game losing streak into this week's matchup. David sits atop the Bros division with back-to-back wins. This smells like a trap game for David. Josh Allen's elbow issue could pose problems for Diggs upside. Rodgers will have issues with the Dallas D, so I don't see him having a lot of time to find Lazard. Fournette is already losing more and more touches to White. David needs big games from Etienne and Foreman. Steve gets his Chubb back which is a considerable boost. Overall, Steve's players have a lot of tough matchups. Herbert vs 49ers. Samuel vs Eagles. Goedert vs Washington. Steve's lineup is too good to keep on losing. This week, his team gets the breaks.
Prediction: Steve ends his losing streak
