Hi Ho! Oh no. More studs got major injuries this week. We need to notify the rest of Travis' players to warn them about their increased injury risk. Another brutal week for injuries with Jerry Jeudy dropped like he was shot in the foot. Apparently, it is not as bad as it seemed by his reaction. Khalil Herbert and Fournette both left their games with hip injuries. JuJu got a major concussion. Gerald Everett pulled his groin. Ah..my groin. Travis losing Ertz and Kupp. Ertz for the year and Kupp for at least a couple of weeks, if not more. AJ Brown got dinged up during MNF. He came back in to play but did nothing afterward. Another brutal week. On to the results from this week's matchups. My jink powers were strong in Week 10 as I put the jinx on Jordan, Tracy (sorry), Paul, and my brother (sorry, not sorry). Dana is apparently immune from them as my wife.
Kermit the Kommissioner (James) vs Elmo (Jordan)
156.68 - 120.80

In back-to-back weeks, Jordan goes down. I didn't think I had a chance with Jones at QB. I got a massive boost with Zeke not playing allowing Pollard to have another bell cow week. He came through with 115 yards and a TD. But it was JJ being dynamite with unbelievable catches to post 193 yards and a TD that really pushed me over the top. These losses don't hurt Jordan too much. He is locked into the #1 seed in the playoffs with his massive points lead with 4 weeks to go. 120 points are Jordan's team floor for scoring. That's better than Linda almost every week. I predicted Jordan would get the high score for the week. He did...on his bench. Instead, I got the high score.
Scooter (Gary) vs Dr. Honeydew (Travis)
114.84 - 70.50

Injuries have been the story for Travis this season. The hits keep on coming. This week he lost Kupp to a bad ankle injury and Ertz to a bad knee injury. Add him to a long list that includes Zeke, Keenan, Hollywood, and Javonte. These are six would-be studs or key players in fantasy. No recovering from that much bad luck. It's starting to get hard for him to fill a starting lineup. Beyond Mahomes, Gary's team put up some stinkers. Kittle was barely involved. Mecole was a scratch. JuJu got jacked up on a dirty hit. He will probably be out for a week. The Chargers' offense is anemic without Keenan and Williams. Not even Awesome Ekeler can overcome. With all the injuries Travis is destined for the Crapper playoff.
Gonzo the Great (Justin) vs Oscar the Grouch (Tracy)
139.54- 132.02

With everything negative going on in Tracy's life, I was rooting for him to get the win over Justin. It could also be that I just wanted some extra space between us heading into the divisional games after next week. Alas, not only did Tracy lose his fantasy game, his Raiders lost to the Colts who just fired their coach and hired an ex-player off the street to take over. 998 may need to be on speed dial for Tracy. Hang in there, Tracy. I keep thinking of the sign I saw in Rush County, KS back in the early 90s that said, "It's all up from here." Tracy's 3rd loss in a row puts him 2 back of David and 3 of Gary with 4 games left to go. He has the early head-to-head against David, but not Gary. Justin's big win keeps the pressure on the Kommish to see for the Beards division lead. I was lucky to beat Jordan this week. Justin will have to see if he can also get lucky against Jordan next week.
Miss Piggy (Dana) vs Janice (Linda)
136.18 - 59.60

Linda might have won in Vegas, but she lost in BBB. Dana continues to ride the Fields wave. Fields is what Lamar used to be. Sometimes having a truly sucky team can be beneficial. You can feel safe taking a flyer on a QB who hadn't done much all season but showed a chance of breaking out. Dana has already been eliminated from the top 2 spots in the Bros division with Gary's win, but she is still focused on trying to escape the Crapper. The surefire way is to climb the points leaderboard to finish in the top 8. She has gone from 12th to 10th in 2 weeks. Still, she has a long way to go, but she is finally moving in the right direction. Not so for Loser Linda who has slid back down to last in points and tied for the worst record.
Animal (Paul) vs Abby (Ashlyn)
112.00 - 126.10

Huge win for the Rookie of Paul. He is now 4 back of me for the Division with 4 to go and 3 back of Justin for 2nd. She now has a 2 game lead over her Uncle Steve for 2nd place in the Broads division. Having the dominant TE in fantasy this season isn't helping Paul's winning. The trade everyone thought I was ripping Ashlyn off on paid off this week with Christian Kirk going postal for 105 yards and 2 TDS. That was the difference in margin versus Paul's Dionte Johnson in his flex. The master plan is playing out well so far. The bad news is I have to face Ashlyn next week.
Fozzy the Bear (David) vs BoBo the Bear (Steve)
113.96 - 84.44

David continues to rule. Steve continues to drool. Steve drops his 5th straight. He is in danger of missing the Championship playoffs again. As the only member other than The Rookie to not make the Championship playoffs, I thought this would be his year with 6 teams making it instead of 4. David continues to lead the competitive Bros division. David has the head-to-head against Gary. With Tracy's team faltering, it looks like it's a two-man race to see who finished on top to claim divisional champion honors this year. Gary's mediocre points performance once again drops him behind the Kommish by 30.10 points to 3rd place.
